Deoxyribonucleoprotein (DNP) is the antigen to which most SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) autoantibodies are directed. Stabilized latex particles coated with DNP will agglutinate when mixed with serum from SLE patients. This makes the latex test a useful qualitative and semiquantitative screening test for SLE. 100 test per box.
